CPT’s Consolidated Net Sales for April Approximated NT$ 7,703 Million

CPT (TAIEX:2475) today announced that CPT‘s unaudited consolidated net sales for April 2010 approximated NT$ 7,703 million, down 6.8% MoM and up 91.2% YoY.

Net sales of TFT business unit for April 2010 decreased 7.7% from March 2010 to NT$ 6,852 million and represented an increase of 101% YoY. April unit shipments of large-sized panels for applications such as netbook, notebook, monitor, and LCD TV, totaled 2,092 thousand, down 8.2% MoM and up 71.5% YoY. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels increased to 26,808 thousand, up 9.6% MoM.

For CRT business unit, net sales for April 2010 totaled NT$ 851 million, up 1.1% MoM. CRT shipments for April 2010 approximated 1,031 thousand, up 0.6% MoM.

Unaudited non-consolidated revenues for April 2010 were NT$ 6,390 million, decreased 9.5% MoM, compared to NT$ 3,422 million for the same period last year, representing an increase of 86.7%.
