CPT’s Consolidated Net Sales for October Approximated NT$7,520 Million
CPT (TAIEX:2475) today announced that CPT‘s unaudited consolidated net sales for October 2008 approximated NT$7,520 million, down 20.8% MoM and down 53.8% YoY.
Net sales of TFT business unit for October 2008 decreased 24.9% from September 2008 to NT$5,895 million and represented a decrease of 60.3% YoY. October unit shipments of large-sized panels for applications such as desktop monitor, notebook, and LCD TV, totaled 1,603 thousand, down 19.9% MoM and 39.9% YoY. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels decreased to 5,168 thousand, down 21.7% MoM.
For CRT business unit, net sales for October 2008 totaled NT$ 1,625 million, down 1.2% MoM. CRT shipments for October 2008 approximated 1,642 thousand, down 9.9% MoM.
Unaudited non-consolidated revenues for October 2008 were NT$5,368 million, decreased 26.9% MoM, compared to NT$14,778 million for the same period last year, representing a decrease of 63.7%.
