CPT’s Consolidated Net Sales for September Approximated NT$6,453 Million

CPT (TAIEX:2475) today announced that CPT‘s unaudited consolidated net sales for September 2009 approximated NT$6,453 million, down 5.7% MoM and down 32% YoY.

Net sales of TFT business unit for September 2009 decreased 7% from August 2009 to NT$5,706 million and represented a decrease of 27.3% YoY. September unit shipments of large-sized panels for applications such as netbook, notebook, monitor, and LCD TV, totaled 1,725 thousand, down 4.6% MoM and down 13.8% YoY. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels increased to 15,448 thousand, up 5.6% MoM.

For CRT business unit, net sales for September 2009 totaled NT$746 million, up 5.1% MoM. CRT shipments for September 2009 approximated 984 thousand, up 10.1% MoM.

Unaudited non-consolidated revenues for September 2009 were NT$5,401million, decreased 7.2% MoM, compared to NT$7,345 million for the same period last year, representing a decrease of 26.5%.
