CPT’s Consolidated Net Sales for October Approximated NT$5,311 Million

CPT (TAIEX:2475) today announced that CPT‘s unaudited consolidated net sales for October 2009 approximated NT$5,311 million, down 17.7% MoM and down 29.4% YoY.

Net sales of TFT business unit for October 2009 decreased 20.3% from September 2009 to NT$4,549 million and represented a decrease of 22.8% YoY. October unit shipments of large-sized panels for applications such as netbook, notebook, monitor, and LCD TV, totaled 1,301 thousand, down 24.6% MoM and down 18.8% YoY. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels increased to 16,046 thousand, up 3.9% MoM.

For CRT business unit, net sales for October 2009 totaled NT$762 million, up 2.1% MoM. CRT shipments for October 2009 approximated 1,006 thousand, up 2.2% MoM.

Unaudited non-consolidated revenues for October 2009 were NT$4,277million, decreased 20.8% MoM, compared to NT$5,368 million for the same period last year, representing a decrease of 20.3%.
