CPT’s Consolidated Net Sales for January Approximated NT$6,898 Million

CPT (TAIEX:2475) today announced that CPT‘s unaudited consolidated net sales for January 2010 approximated NT$6,898 million, up 13.9% MoM and up 163.5% YoY.

Net sales of TFT business unit for January 2010 increased 14.0% from December 2009 to NT$6,050 million and represented an increase of 195.3% YoY. January unit shipments of large-sized panels for applications such as netbook, notebook, monitor, and LCD TV, totaled 2,046 thousand, up 12.3% MoM and up 224.8% YoY. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels increased to 18,822 thousand, up 12.7% MoM.

For CRT business unit, net sales for January 2010 totaled NT$847 million, up 13.1% MoM. CRT shipments for January 2010 approximated 1,047 thousand, up 3.2% MoM.

Unaudited non-consolidated revenues for January 2010 were NT$6,303million, increased 13.4% MoM, compared to NT$1,994 million for the same period last year, representing an increase of 216.1%.
